student network, is looking for fun and crazy designs to be submitted to the special t-shirt design competition presented by streetcanvas!

ABOUT THE COMPETITION

Moph, publisher of “PARTNER”, the most widely read magazine for art university students in Japan, will hold a special t-shirt design competition in collaboration with streetcanvas. The competition aims to share Japanese originality and creativity in art with the streetcanvas community worldwide.
Winning designs will not only be available through the streetcanvas shop, it will also be announced and sold at a Moph-sponsored club event in Tokyo this fall, inviting prominent musicians, DJs, and artists, including Kaikai Kiki gallery, a gallery run by prominent Japanese artist Takashi Murakami.

Selection process
- Submitted designs can be viewed on the streetcanvas website throughout the competition.
- The one week voting period will start immediately after the submission period ends.
- Streetcanvas community members worldwide have one week to vote for their favorite designs.
- Out of the most chosen designs by the community, the moph X streetcanvas team will select winning designs to be made into t-shirts and sold worldwide.
Voting period
October 13, 2009 – October 19, 2009 (midnight Japan time)
Winner announcement
October 20, 2009
The winner will be announced on the streetcanvas website.
Winning design t-shirts
Limited editions of the winning designs will be available for purchase on the streetcanvas website starting November 2, 2009. On the same day, the winning designs will be introduced at a club event organized by moph in Tokyo, featuring prominent artists, DJs and musicians, including Kaikai Kiki gallery run by famous Japanese artist Takashi Murakami.
